MF 54 bucket links.

The links on my backhoe are home from a previous owner. They do not appear to be the correct length. I need to fab up a new set.

Does anyone know the correct pin to pin dimension for the links?

Mine didn't come with any so I had to fab
some up as well. I settled on 18" center
to center and it works fine.
Id be curious what the original length
is supposed to be.

Yeah, see the homemade ones on mine are 12". They don't look right.

Which of the links are you referring to
cylinder to bucket or cylinder to dipper?
I assumed cylinder to bucket. The link
from the cylinder to dipper is a bit
shorter if you need that measurement I'll
check it tomorrow.

If I can get these pictures to post, the links I'm referring to are numbers 20 and 24 in the schematic.

#20 is 15.5 center to center. I had a
broken original to base that on. #24 I
made 18" and it was a best guess of what
would work. I didn't make #24 with two
positions like the original was.
