I have just put my tractor back together after renewing the brakes and things are not looking good!
With the axles refitted and both wheels still off the ground I am able to turn each wheel independently with the other rotating in the opposite direction, but when I try to turn both wheels at the same time the transmission locks up and something sounds slack or clunky around the differential area.
Have I missed something important when refitting the axles?, indeed which one should go on first? or does it not matter?
Thanks in anticipation,
cheers, Ali.
