Fixed all the different leaks on this tractor and just now a new one sprung up.
It never leaked engine oil but it just started today. (EDIT: After further review, it's been leaking from this hole for awhile)
It's from the front cover. Not the front main seal. Seems to be a bolt hole that it's leaking from. It's a drip drip kinda flow. Not a gusher. Any idea what it is?
From what I can tell it's not supposed to have a bolt in it. I ran a one in to see if there were threads and there isn't. My guess is it's a weep hole.
Next question is why would there be a weep hole and why is it leaking? Oil level is right. Might even be on the low side so I don't get why it's leaking.
I just replaced the filter thinking maybe it was clogged forcing the oil out. New filter didn't change a thing.
Has new oil in it. 15w40.
