MF 65 seat

I need a seat for a MF65 tractor. What is there now is a seat pan atop a 6 by 6 wooden block. There has to be a better way. So, I am looking for salvage yard or individual that has one. I am in NY. Thanks in advance.

The 65 had 2 different style seats, depending on year built. Up thru 1962 (I think) they had a bucket seat with a fairly thick cushion and no suspension. The 1963 and 64 models had a higher seat with suspension along with a dished steering wheel and higher pedals and running boards. Unless you are doing a restoration, you might want to consider an aftermarket seat. That is what I have on my 65 and 165. The first and third pictures are the early style. The middle pic is the later style.

For what it's worth I replaced the old style pan seat with an aftermarket one with suspension on a 245 and like it a lot better. Try TSC or google.
