MF 698 power steering leak

Right side cylinder is leaking local dealer in Bonham couldn't find parts (didn't call back anyway). I have a couplke of questions: Is the cylinder rebuilable? If not rebuildable can a new cyliner be purchased?

Any of your local hydraulic shops should be able to rebuild that cylinder. It is probably metric, but you are getting so much European stuff over there now that metric fittings should be available.

You were right -- I took it to Push & Pull hydrualics in Whitewright and they were able to fix it with off the shelf parts. I had more trouble getting it off than did repairing it. Of course after spending a hour getting the tie rod end jacked out, I found out that I didn't really need to bring that part any way.
