MF 85

I am looking at 1969 Massey Ferguson 85 tractor. It is Gas. Any good
or bad stories on this?

I can tell you that it is NOT a 1969. The 85 was built from 1959 to 1962.

After fudging the year model,I'd wonder what else seller is embelishing. Never trust a tractor salesman wearing yellow plaid overalls,green shirt and pink tie.

They could be decent tractors, but kinda like cats: Either you had a good one or there is no such thing. I know from experience parts for engine are very difficult to find. Massey did not do a lot of testing on the model before production.

I was able to get the serial number if anyone knows a year or model exactly
