What do the codes mean on the back of Massey Ferguson literature? Can you get the date from these codes? A few examples:

MF25, MF39, MF68 disc harrow brochure has 248/562-10-2.

MF51, MF52 mower brochure has 192/662-20-2.

In the case of the MF25, MF39, MF68 It works as follows: 248 is the print number, 562 is the date (may 1962), 10 is the amount that they printed (10 thousand) and the 2 means it is the second printing.

Same for the MF51, and MF52, 192 form number, 662 date (june 1962) 20 (20 thousand printed) and 2 means it is the second printing.
