MF Super 90 info

I just bought this today.
The owner said it was a 1962 Super 90 LP.

However when I look it up on tractor data I don't see an option for that in 62'.

I was hoping somebody might be able to help me out on that information.

That's not a Super 90, it's the MF 85 model. The S90 had a higher seat and steering wheel. Is the serial number plate still on the lower battery box right side?

I will look in the morning... to funny.. Would explain why there is no option in 62 on a Super 90 for LP :)

Here are some better pics...

Hello roverf, welcome to YT! Is it a runner? Looks like a beast. Propane carburetion can be a little tricky. Many forklifts use propane engines that and actual propane suppliers often can be sources for information. What did you have to give for it if you don’t mind sharing, don’t worry we won’t tell you wife. :)

I have around 35 tractors... I got rid of the wife along time ago...
She was interfering with my tractor purchases... Blah blah blah... "Do we still have money for food" etc....

The old girl runs like a top. The owner traded it to me for a Cub Cadet 50" GT 3100 mower. I had $350.00 in the GT.

He got it in a trade a year or so ago & was moving to a residential neighbor with no place to store it.
He thought he had it sold & the buyer backed out the day he was supposed to move.

So he listed it on FB marketplace at 2:15 a.m. in the morning. I replied to the ad at 2:16 a.m.

I showed up with the cub and my trailer at 7:00 that morning he drove it around and then we loaded the tractor and the rest is history... Except him apparently knowing the model number :)

The engine had been rebuilt & you can hardly hear it run.
The only thing that seems wrong at this point with it is the up & down speed of the loader arms is very, very slow.
The bucket hydraulics are fast. There seems to be only one filter inline before the controller. (see attached)

I'm going to change that out but the filter has no identifying numbers on it. Any help figuring that out would be helpful as well as any thoughts on if there are any other screens to be cleaned etc ...

Ugh... The tag is not there. Looks like they took it off to paint it & didn't put it back... the screws are still there.

Attached is the engine tag.. hopefully that will help with more information on it.

Serial number
