Mf135 rev counter.

Here's a photo ( hopefully) of my French mf135 rev counter. Forget that. Just noticed file is too big.

Fairly sure the cable from the camshaft (?) To the rev counter works. Which means this doesn't.
Tried clamping the small round attachment on the back in a drill. No effect.

Can the rev counter be repaired and if so how do you get into it?

Many thanks.[/img:e2aaa1eff0]

One other thing, after leaving it face down on the side overnight, I noticed oil has come through and coveted some of the inside of the glass.

Thanks Bob.
Hope I have this right...
Looks like an oil seal is missing/broken.
Oil has worked it's way through the cable and into the tacho. Until the tacho stopped working.
Did seem odd that engine oil should be present in the tacho.

Regards, nick.
