Looking for info for anyone who may have converted their 1520 loader to SSQA. I have a set of pallet forks I would love to be able to use. I see there some some premade kits, but pretty salt price. I was looking at the bucket earlier today and it looks to have an odd shape on the back. Any help would be great.

This may sound harsh, but I think you know where you are at and are asking here hoping for a way to do this for less than $500.

You will need either a pre-built base to fit your loader arms ($1000 to $2000) or a set of latch boxes $200-$300) to build your own base. Then you need the plate for an attachment to fit up and weld to your bucket. The shape of the bucket may take some trial-and-error fitting to get the proper roll back and dump angles. Worksaver is one company that might have a prebuilt one, and there are others, you likely know all this as you posted you have looked at some premade kits. Can you fabricate and weld? It looks to me like how much of this you can do yourself, which we can't determine, will govern the cost. So, depending on good shopping, along with the skills and tooling you have, you will be somewhere between $500 and $3000 to do this is my guess based on available info.
