MF202 Lacking Power

My MF202 is lacking power when it warms up. I can pull my 5' brush hog in low range 3rd gear, but have to back down to 2nd gear to go up mild hills. After I have been out for an hour it is running hot around 200°- 210°. When I disengage the PTO it starts sputtering and popping, then I have hardly any power at all. After it cools down it starts and runs the same cycle again. Any ideas??? Carb Rebuild??? Points and condenser were replaced, coil, wires, and cap too.

Check for trash in the fuel tank. I had an industrial 20 that would lack power intermittantly, finally I unscrewed the sediment bowl apparatus from the fuel tank. You wouldn't believe what came out. The trash would slosh around in the tank and sometimes block the inlet to the sediment bowl. When that happened, I would loose power.
