MF300 vs All-crop 90/72

Had made my mind up to purchase a MF300 with 3 row corn head and 13' grain table - then All-Crop 90 came up - assuming price is equal; All-crop is cheaper - but further away - probably same cost to get to farm -
I have no interest in "collectable" but in "useables" - I farm about 45 acres - corn, wheat and soybeans - presently pick corn with IH PR-1 - So next year 5/8 acres or corn; 15 acres of wheat - double crop with beans, remainder 20 acres or so in soybeans - that is my general rotation - won't be getting any bigger. So for the question - initially wanted pull type as I thought less problems, i.e. engine maintenance; then I found the MF300 and thought I can't go wrong; I farm just for a hobby and try to break even - I do have time contraints - don't want to be done in a day, but a few days, hence I don't want/need 4 row harvesting equipment - thoughts you have on AC-90 pull type vs MF 300 - assuming both are field ready - corn head on MF is just a bonus - doubtful I will use it much if at all -Tough question to probably answer - just looking for some thoughts as I'm sure some have had this issue and made a choice. So issues would be costs of "operating/harvesting" with the two machines - probably similar issues for parts for both - then finally, which is likely to provide the lease amount of headaches.

The 300 was nice in its day.If its ready to run Id get it.They use a chrysler slant 6 and there is a lot of parts machines out there

Kind of apples and oranges here. The 300 was a nice small combine but a bugger to work on. If this one doesn't a too many hours on it so it would be dependable then that might be okay. I would lean toward the All Crop just because with the ages of these two machines you probably are going to have to repair them and the AC would be much easier to work on along with what you have said about not keeping another motor and transmission going. Of course the AC was pretty dirty to run so.........

The only down side I see here is the All-Crop corn heads are hard to find and parts are probably going to be easier to find for the 300. I do think the All-Crop is a better machine for the wheat and beans, never seen one work in corn yet.
