MF34 engine seals

I found locally a MF34 with backhoe and loader. Lady says it needs new engine seals because someone drove it without oil in it. Never done this before. Big project to do?

Make /Model of Engine.

The last engine I seen ran with out engine oil required a crankshaft,and other components.

If an Engine is ran long enough with out engine OIL.....a LOT MORE shall be damaged other than ENGINE SEALS.

Lady is possibly repeating someone else's words.

I believe the 34 just the loader attachment and could be one of several tractors. What is the tractor model and what engine does it have?

That is just the loader tag. The hoe should have its own as well. The tractor should have one and the engine will have a tag or number stamped in it somewhere, depending on what engine it is. The size and cost of the project will be determined by exactly what is wrong with it. The seller's description sounds sketchy at best.

If you purchase that machine at $4000.00 with her rendition of the problem,and if you hire a licensed mechanic to bring it back up to operating condition,and given the time spent to just get close to the Engine,and consider the worst case scenario of the Engine problem,you could have $7000.00 > $10,000.00 invested.

Like going to Vegas..
