I just rewired my 1963 MF 35 using the wiring diagram found on the massey enthusiasts.org website. I installed new voltage regulator, ignition switch and starter button. I added an inline fuse between the ignition switch terminal and the voltage regulator "L" terminal. Now the tractor is blowing the fuse. I started with a 10amp, then 15 and now 25 amp fuse-all blown. the tractor has the original generator.
The tractor starts well, seems to run well but blows the fuse when I move the key position from lights on back to engine only. The lights work when the key is in the 3rd switch position, but as soon as I turn the key back to engine only, the fuse blows.
I would appreciate any comments or help.
Thank you
Vann
