MF35 draft lever operation setting

I got a mf35 & bush hog to set the mf35 hydraulics for position control only, there are 2 levers & the main lift lever (1st) says
position up and down then at the bottom end I think is says fast/slow. The second one has no writing on it but I assume it's for
draft. What's the proper setting for position control only? Also lever (1st) near the seat says up/down and appears to raise and lower the lift but if you push it down past the low mark it says (fast or slow) so if the lift is all the way down, how can the fast/slow have a effect.

Set the Draft lever a bit lower than half way up on the quadrant, it's for ground engaging use anyway. The Position is used for hitching, and anytime you want it to hold a given position. Position lever WILL affect DRAFT response speed when using tractor with ground engaging implements, farther down the position lever goes, the SLOWER the implement will drop. NEVER use the DRAFT lever to raise-lower the three point, it WILL blow the relief valve when arms are fully up, and if the valve sticks it CAN split the lift cover, and even wreck the diff case housing.

The mf35 will never be used for anything but bush hogging as all I ever need is position control. If I read your reply correctly
then I need the outer lever (next to fender) draft control set to midway, inner main lift lever will adjust highlight & stay there

Are you saying that one should set the draft lever a little lower than center when using the position control for back blading or mowing?
