I am new to the site and restoring tractors, but doing well. I have a new muffler and exhaust pipe with clamps. The old exhaust pipe was wired under foot rest on right side. How is it supposed to be supported? Thank you!

Muffler hangers and U bolts. The hangers were mounted on rear axle housing bolts. Use this link to Agco books. Use the guest button. Look for the Model 50 under Massey Ferguson/ Wheeled tractors tab.
The Model 50 is a great tractor. The Continental Z134 gas engine is tough and reliable. The Z134 engine is in millions of machines.
I use my MF 50 a lot and wouldn't trade it for anything. Bought it used in 1990 and rebuilt it in 2008. It should run for another 50 years or more if my grandsons take care of it.
If you are going to do hay I would mount the Exhaust vertically. The under the belly mounting has set several hay fields on fire when raking. The hay gets snagged and bunched up it your not paying attention. The reverse elbow to do that is hard to find. You can mount it vertical without it though. The exhaust pipe is closer to the operator though.
Good luck.
