MF65 Carburetor Adjustments

I was wondering what the carburetor adjustments are on a MF65 with a Marvel Schebler TSX695 carb (gas)
I have a I&T manual but all they show is LP with a Zenith carb, i didn't know if it's the same or not?
it shows 1 turn out and 1 1/2 turn out.

It should run. I always adjust mine 1 1/2 turns(fuel) and then fine adjust after running. Sometimes you have to adjust air all way down.

Warm the engine to operating temp, open the throttle wide open to max rpm, turn the main jet in until the engine starts to stumble and slow down, then open it up till it smooths out, from that point give it one quarter to one half round richer, set the idle jet to where it idles smooth. If the engine doesen't pull good give it a little more, the only way to really set it correctly is on a dyno under load. Also check the points and timing.

Thanks for everyone's advice, i have it running, but when it is throttled up it backfires and sputters, if i choke it a little and then un-choke it, it then runs fine?.
I will continue with some more adjusting tomorrow.
