MF65 replacement steering wheel

Is this style available? None of the ones I see for sale appear to fit that cap.

That's the late deep dish wheel, also used on MF 150, 165, and 175 models. Not sure if the spline ID is the same as your Dieselmatic though. Early 50, 65, 85, 88 used the
flat wheel..

That one could be restored fairly easily if you are inclined. There are services that can do it or if you are inclined some epoxy, sanding, and paint could bring that one back pretty nicely.

Hmm, any specific type of epoxy or paint? Sounds doable, just never seen it done.

Would something like plastidip be a good coating?

Order 1671945M1 steering wheel. Pull it up on your PC
and look at picture.

Plastidip definitely not, it won't be durable enough. I would go with an epoxy that is in moldable form like JB weld steel stick. Press that into the cracks. (Try to minimize the need to sand). Then sand the whole thing and paint with plastic paint. I have used Krylon in the past.
