MH 33 installing starter switch

I installed starter switch on my MH33.There is a wire coming from the amp. gauge to the starter switch and I cannot remember which cable it attaches to (the negative or positive) I cannot get spark. I think this has something to do with it.

That wire will probably go to the battery side of the starter switch. The same side the wire from the battery goes to.
