MH Pony Oil Filter location

i was wondering if some one would tell me where the oil filter on the pony is.some guys in agritech class at school asked me and i dont know. they think it is in the oil pan is this correct?

Thanks but where is this round canister? the guys working on the tractor have taken the tractor apart quite a bit and are all "townies" so i am not sure if they would have known what it was if they took it off.

I don't own a Pony so I don't know the exact location.
Look on the sides of engine for a round metal canister like the size of a mayonaise jar.
It should have a round cover on it with a bolt in the center of the cover.

My Pony didn't have one either, and someone sent these pics for me showing how it was mounted, and where the lines connected. I just never deleted them.

Older Pony tractors did not have one, there is no canister or filter element. Not until the 49 I think. Check your serial numbers, If you are a PGS number, or below 1570 it likely did not have a filter.
