Question, did JD make a center mount 9 foot cycle mower to fit 3020 and 4020 models?

Yes they did. Think it was a model 50 or 50 something. One on my dads 2510 at home.

Yes a 50 mower could have a nine ft bar. I am not sure if the 10 it replaced could or not. The last side mower was a 250. I knew of a beef farm in VA that mowed all their hay with 3 model 50 9ft mowers on 3020 and 4020 power shift tractors. I forget the number of acres they could cut in a day but it was lots for the 1980's. Tom

Just checked, the model 10 was available with a 9 foot bar.

hey diesel tech i just picked up a 50 side mower that i plan on putting on a 3020 power shift. got it from the original owner. hope to post some pix later when getting it mounted. has a long big azz bar on it
should be able to cut alot of road side weeds that my municipality neglects cutting. lol

Take a look at the information below.

Note the 4020 Row-Crop and Standard Tractors are listed.
