Mid weight bracket mounting spot?

I have heard alot of people say mount them as close to the center of the rear axle and u understand that but what about at frame height or hung low? this may be a stupid question but i get alot of diffrent answers.....Just looking for opinions or pictures. I have an unstyled WC that im getting ready to build a bracket for and would like other input.

I think as low as possible and just in front of the radius of the rear tires. Vic
