Milwaukee Drill

Going to go look at a Milwaukee 1/2" drill this morning for $25. The plug in cord is missing. Found the cords online for about $15 - $25. Going to check the brushes and see if its burnt up or not.

Good deal on a good drill. The QD cords are a nice feature since the cords tend to get trashed long before the tool. Interesting it looks like they have a socket extension chucked up.

Those are Arm Twisters. If I remember right they only go one speed (Slow) and are almost impossible to stop if they catch??? Can't read the numbers and it been to long to be sure. They are a good quality tool
and will last forever and when I had to use them thought they were the best. My self I would not buy a Milwaukee drill unless it variable speed and reversible and goes at least 1500 RPM. I have at least 4
fixed speed slow drills that work and have not used them forever??? that I remember.

My brother had an antique 1/2 inch right angle.

If I recall he couldn't buy the switch.
Parts no longer available.
It took me a while scratching my head to figure
how to wire a new style switch.

Good luck.

Good tool. Itll probably run once you get a cord on it. They will hurt you if youre not careful, Ive got scars to prove it. You can get a right andgle kit
for it, which depending on how you place the chuck on it, will reduce or increase the rpms. That makes it very useful for plumbing or electrical work.
My brother has the first one I ever bought, 45+ years ago I believe. It still works fine.

Good news:
Great price if you get it running,
Milwaukee makes great tools

Bad news:
Parts may be hard to get,
I can't remember the last time I used a corded tool,
Im not man enough to hold that beast if it gets caught on something so I will save what is left of my arms and never use a drill like that again.

I had a recip saw similar to that, years ago. Uses a twist lock cord.
(Removable, to put tool in metal case/box) The twist lock cords are
still available on line.

What a deal if it works. I like corded tools not fooling around with dead batteries and not working before the work is done. And the batteries go bad seemingly fast. I'll take corded or air anyday over the batteries. Don't matter which brand you choose either.

I don't really like the "Quick-Lok cord setup. A replacement Milwaukee brand is kind of expensive. Thought about putting a regular cord on it, but decided to bite the bullet and buy the right cord. Cord cost more than the drill cost me!

If it was handy I probably have one I could have gave you??? First to find it and then get it to your location which may be a long ways from Nebraska-Hence the high cost of SHIPPING. Cleddy

Very nice of you to offer. I already have one coming to me from Ebay though. I was born in Bloomfield Nebraska 68 years ago. Somehow ended up here in the Florida panhandle after living all over the country.
