Mini Excavator Greasing

I recently picked up a cheap mini excavator to do some landscaping work around the property and I'm going over everything before I put it to work.
I'm a little confused if I should go with an EP2 grease or a Moly grease since it's all pins and bushings.

I use Green Grease synthetic but that's just me.

Worry about greasing often and less about with what. The cheapest grease you can buy will do a fine job on that. Bucket and boom pins twice a day. Circle gear and bearing once a day.

I would use a good EP like Lucas Red "N" Tacky. I think it is better to have around for use in more applications.

I agree with Butch(OH), regular greasing is more important here than the specific grease

Honestly, it's not important as long as you grease on a regular basis. Everyone has their favorite. Some people feel buying the mostest-expensivest stuff is the way to go. Others get the $2/tube el-cheapo grease.

Frequency is the ticket over time for durability. Any grease will work even butter if added often enough.

I bought a 1 foot bucket for a specific job. The place I bought it from said good luck pulling the bucket pins on the old bucket. Since I have always greased them often pushing the dirt & water out of the bushings, the pins came right out with one finger with little effort. So I agree that greasing more often is more important than what type of grease you use.
