Make sure the fuel is being delivered to the carb in quantity. A stuck float can also be a cause of zero fuel. You might be able to remove the bowl and assess the flow without removing the entire carb. Jim

Is there something floating in the tank?

Best advice I ever got when it comes to carbs is get a set of super tiny drill bits. I had a carb a while back that I could run a thin wire all the way to the bottom of every port no problem, but it ran for garbage every time I put it back on. I gave up on the carb and put it in the shelf for later. Well I was having issues with a VAC carb pig fueling and a friend told me to get a tiny twist drill bit and run it down all the holes. I couldn't believe all the crud that it dislodged. After that I sprayed it out and put it back on and it ran fine. I picked that old carb up I shelved and ran a drill bit down that. I found that on one of the passage holes I wasn't actually all the way down. The wire wasn't stiff enough to get through the crud, but twisting that tiny bit by hand and pushing down a tad was enough to break through. Carb cleaned up and worked nicely after that.
