Miracle span

You are right Jim.
I am sure it is a miracle span from the company in SD that is now out of business. There are some manufacturers that offer similar buildings. But none that will help me with concrete info.

Cjunrau is right about the endwall & 1 arch loosely assembled
to get the true dimension for the foundation "keyway" where
the arches will sit in.
We put up a 42X80 in the '80s. The manual gave a table for
width & length of foundation. The width of the foundation
keyways was 42' 2" outside & 40' 10" inside.
I put down footings 12" wide below frost & then formed the
keyway for the arches to sit in.

I have a set of 2 books an erection guide and foundation guide. 1996 edition . We really like our building, just wish it was bigger. Give me a private message and we can talk. Jim

Ours was built the same way Brownies was, the manual give the specs. All Connie and I can remember is to use plenty of spacers the more the better. to prevent creep. Buy square sockets (8 sided) also saves a lot of grief. You also can't have too many helpers. Ours was only 32 wide so not too tall, we built a platform on the top of a thrower rack that was 16' wide moved it right down the middle. We tied tires together to make ladders so you could get on the roof and not scratch the galvanize off.

Yes, surprising how much creep adds up. We checked every 2 arches
for length & adjusted as needed.I had a Parker gravity box mounted
on a 1600 chassis to work the center of the arch & a couple of gravity
wagons on the sides with planks for walking across.
