mixing valspar implement paint.

i wrote asking, if anybody has used valspar implement paint,a couple of weeks ago.well i just finshed about 70% of the tractor and parts. i first used valspar sandable primer.i mixed 1 qt of primer and 4oz of mineral spirits using a 1.40 nozzle at 60 psi it flowed great. the color i used was valspar implement oliver green. i mixed one qt of color, 2oz of hardner and 4oz of naptha. i used a .49 nozzle at 55psi it turned out beautiful no runs a high gloss and no orange peel. we just want to thank everybody, out there who has helped us.jim and shawn

glad it turned out well for you!!! wheres the pictures????? i have a farmall cub and an m i shot in valspar years ago, and they still look pretty good. both are working tractors, the cub has a belly mower and a wing mower that i pull with it and the 42 m pull a jd #5 sickle mower and an i-h model 27 rotary mower. no trailer queens, they earn their keep.

A lot of less expensive paints look good at first but will fade quickly.
