Around 1950 my Uncle had a MM dealership. I was about 8 or 9years old and he gave me a MM toy tractor. As I remember it was about a 1/16 size . I don't remeber the model but it was made of hard rubber and was a row crop . I have not seen any thing like it since. Has any one got one or seen one.If not real anyone have a picture. Frank

I started out on a farm in 1947. I remember as a kid, Dad gave me a JD tractor and implements. I think I had a drag, disc, manure spreaders, and a plow all made of metal. Sure wish I had taken care of them.

There are several options from back in those days.

Arcor made a model R, 1/16 scale, rubber, yellow with narrow front in 1940.

Arcor also made a model R, 1/16, rubber, red, narrow front in 1946.

Auburn made an R in 1950, 1/16, red, narrow front, rubber.

Aub-Rubber (Auburn) made a rubber model Z in 1938, 1/32, yellow, narrow front.

Aub-Rubber also made a model Z in 1950, 1/32, variety of colors, narrow front.

I remember the ones like you're talking about, but I haven't seen any at farm toy shows lately.

Where are you located? Maybe I can point you to some farm toy shows in your area.
