Model 2020 serial number

I m usually next door in the Oliver discussion group but a friend of mine acquired a JD 2020 that was thrown in the deal when he bought an adjoining property. Just looking at some pictures he sent, I think it is a utility model.

Serial number is 032009T That appears to be a late 1969 model if I interpret tractordata.com correctly.

Can you tell me what the T stands for?

Type stated on the tag says 5R3C. What does that indicate?

The information you seek is located in 2020 parts catalog. My interpretation of serial list on this forum is your 2020 is a 1966 model

How did you get 1969? The serial number table on TractorData is same as the one on this forum.

I was seeing a six digit number following a five digit number.

If the table had the zero at the beginning of the numbers for the earlier years, like the actual serial number, I think I would have interpreted it correctly.
