Model 52 john deere plow

I have a model 52 plow with an enclosed clutch. When I pull the plow it will cycle down no problem, then to lift it will lift about ³/⁴ of the way up then it starts jumping and won't lift any further. There doesn't seem to be excessive wear on the clutch. Has anyone ran into these problems?
