Model B Connecting Rods

I have a set of the late model B and model 50 connecting rods that take the bearing inserts instead of being babbit style bearings. Just wondering if they would fit the crankshaft of a 49 Model B? It looks like the crankshaft didn't change, so I'm thinking they should work?

Sure, IF the journals are not worn out-of-Round..

Babbitt is far more forgiving to wear than bearing Inserts...

Yes they fit all the way back to a 39 model.

FYI, A 39 and 40 model B used the same rod as the older unstyled tractors used. These rods had a smaller crank journal diameter than the later 1941 and newer tractors used.

Yes that's correct ! My mistake- 41 up is the same journal
