model h and m

Well I have added a couple of good running tractors to the fleet. Got a good running m with a mower and cultivator. Also a little h.
Not too many posts on these. How many of you guys out there have these little tractors and is the reason for so few posts is they are just good runners?

I have both plus a "44 LA. I like the small ones--easier to work on and haul. The H has been redone, not complete restoration but quite a bit done on it. I'm working on the M now. Will mainly do painting , etc since it runs good. It also has front and rear wheel weights and both PTO and belt pulley. LA will be next--probably next year.

Theres usually plenty of chatting about the M & MT. I have a MT & LA myself. The LA is still in the process of being restored and the MT has slowly been having the leaks and mechanical bugs worked out of it as I use it.

I've got 2 of the M's. One I've had for 35 years & they other I picked up last year. They are as simple & reliable as you can get.

We have "<a href="http://youtu.be/CLVwEDdD4XI">Sparky</a>" a 51M that is used to mow the yard and around the shop.

Changed all the fluids and installed a new 6 volt battery when we first brought it home.

Little tractor runs good.

I just finished helping a friend of mine do a complete restoration on a 1945 H. It's kept in my shop. Wesley took it to a cruse in last week and got first place in his class. It's a great little tractor. Looking for a plow for it.

More than likely many of the M's are still working. Mine is the "go to" when something needs moved or pulled. I also have a 39H, 2 LA's, a 41 LI and a 40 L.

Don't have an M, but have an MT and H - not the exact same ones I cut my teeth on, but at least the same models.

I have a M that I just finished, great little tractor. Also got a MT that I drug out of barn about two months ago . Has not been cranked in 10 years. Cranked right up after a tank and carb cleaning, runs great. Have a 40 W that is restored also, it drives the best of the three.
