Model M JD Main Bearings

I am rebuilding the engine in an M John Deere, does anyone out there have a set of .010 main bearings they would sell ? I have been trying to buy them for almost 2 years form every supplier I can find, and no one has them nor can they give me a date when they will have them, they all advertise them, but everyone is out of stock. Thanks in advance.

I have seen where a crankshaft was re-chromed to standard size.
Not sure who does that anymore, at least close to me.

Hello french welcome to YT! I can only believe that you
have already checked with YT, you have to call the
number up top to get the story on them, since their
listing says ..not available online.. I see a set available
from Ag Kits. I can place it in my cart and it says
nothing about ..out of stock.. see link. Beyond that
have you tried going through a machine shop? Many
times they have a better connection with their
suppliers and can get hard to find items.

After two years I would be looking at
alternatives, are standard mains
available? Then have the crank welded and
returned to standard? how about other
undersizes? There are several places to
have custom bearings made but the price
for one set will be a roadblock, you have
to have 50 sets made to get a reasonable
price per set as I just did for another
obsolete bearing set

I cant get any sizes from anyone, so I thought I would try here, someone has to have a NOS set sitting on a shelf somewhere

Yes I have tried here and I have ordered them sevral times from Ag Kits, only to have them refund my money the next day because they dont have them in any size.

There is a guy with a listing on the FB group John Deere Two Cylinder Club of Facebook for a set of 0.020 over 20 NOS main
bearings for an M. He's located in Liberty, Indiana and is asking $550 for the set. The add just went up on the 11th of this
month.
