Model paint for small jobs?

Has anyone here used enamel sold as paint for model cars, etc? such as Testors paint, readily available, might be used for hand painting script lettering, whatnot.

Probably any good enamel will work. Check out sign painter's enamel called 1 shot. It's been around for years so it must be good.

I have used various paints including enamel for touch-up after painting. The problem is the lack of hardness.

I've used Testers in an airbrush, and small brushes both, doing artwork on metal parts such as MC gas tanks. It works well but the bright colors fade in a lot of sun. steve

I am a pinstriper and sign painter I use 1-Shot lettering enamel Ronan is another then there is Alphanamels as well. all for lettering
