Model Uts pto

I have a model uts without pto. I have spare the rear pto assembly with a short shaft that corresponds with the assembly. Is that all I need to add that or is there more components farther towards the clutch that I need. Thanks for the response

I think that should be it. You should be able to just swap the parts. External pto and the power shaft that goes forward in the transmission.

May you haven't got that far yet but I would not opperate that PTO without a shield. In fact I personally would not let it out of the shop without the shield.. Reason being it is way too easy to get your pant leg wraped up in the PTO. I spent many hours when I was a kid mowing hay on a U. Always had the shields in place.

100 percent correct. I remember many years ago a farmer took the PTO off of his U when his kids got old enough to run it. He always feared the worst case scenario and had plenty of other tractors for PTO work. The PTO reappeared when the kids got much older and the tractor pretty much a show tractor.
