A few weeks back I received an Outback Toys catalog in the mail. They had a DC in there that is the toy show tractor for the Pa farm show in January. They also had a model 55H JD plow listed. Both are high detail models and they both happen to be machines I have the real McCoy of. I thought it would be cool to have them as I plan to hopefully take them to a local big tractor plowday whenever I get them finished. So I now have e the toy of both. Hopefully my real ones will look as nice when they are done.

Those two models are pretty awesome looking. There's a lot of detail in each model. While I don't own anything similar, I really like your idea...own the real thing and the scale model.

I'll be on the look-out for a 800 series model now. Congratulations on your find!

Nice! I like the looks of that one as well. Is that one a Scale Models? That is what both of the ones I posted are.
 
Ertl made an 800 for the National Farm Machinery show for Toy Farmer back in the 90's. Good luck with your search. Mine are Spec
Cast.

Since I cannot edit right now I will post instead that I got that wrong. They are Spec Cast not Scale Models.
