Moline grills

Me and my brother had a dumb thought go through our heads last week while we were cleaning up the shop, started talking about the Moline versioned Olivers. And we wanted to see if anyone made the front grills. Reproduction cause I know the originals are nonexistent, and if all 4 models used the same grill?
Weve thought of making a reproduction of a G940. Him being a painter and me the Mechanic I think its possible but it all Relies on finding the cast grill

Several companies sell reproduction grilles for oliver/molines and several people around the country have them for sell already but good luck in your venture.

There are no reproduction grills for the G550-940 tractors. Unfortunately the antique tractor market is full of people looking to make a buck and forging these tractors from Olivers would make someone a lot of money if the grills were readily available. The grill and the serial tag are really the only unique pieces on those machines other than paint and decals. The original grill pattern is hanging on the wall of the Floyd County Museum in Charles City Iowa. I think it would be difficult to find someone willing to let you use their grill as a casting pattern because it could potentially lower the value of their rare tractor. I've seen pullers make Oliver grills out of wood to save weight so that's an option if you're just after the look.

I’m not changing a serial number. And as to make a cast of
another grill I have a g850 and Trust me more then enough
skill to hand make one if I have to. And if I’d ever sell it it will
be well known it’s fake
