I'm looking into buying a Minneapolis Moline R from a guy. It is strait no dents, good tires and runs like a top. the guy bought it a few years ago gor $1600 and it hasn't been run in a few months. everyhting is good on it makes no funny noises and don't smoke. anyone have an idea as to what i should offer him for it? thanks

Not sure were your at but found moines inthe middle of the country run a little cheaper. that because they are more of them.sounds like a fair price if the tires are ok and it a good running tractor needing nothing
what model is it rtu rts???
I can tell you have had my 43 ZTU for sale now for two months and not a bight at $1200 or best
runs drives and needs some tlc to be show ready and tires old and fair.
last ly with out seeing it its hard to realy say
price doese sound fair for a decent tractor you can always offer less and come up as making a deal is part of the fun
The value i base things i buy on is what im willing to pay/trade for it not what some else paid

Any running RTU I believe is worth $700 + tires.
If it has a new set of tires then $700 + $800 = 1500. If it is restored to new condition then you can double that $3000. If it is original condition with a tarp thrown over it stored in an environmental controlled building looking like it rolled off the showroom floor then you could double that $6000. If the serial number is with in the first ten made You could double that. $12000. good luck
