Another tractor that never was. After WW2, a number of companies tried their hand at tractor manufacture here in England. This one was designed and originally manufactured by OTA. Oak Tree Appliances, before being taken over by the Singer Motor Car Company which was part of the Rootes Group of car manufacturers, Singer, Sunbeam, Hillman, Humber and Commer, all reasonably successful car and truck builders. The Singer Monarch was aimed at the small farmer or market garden but money was short and it never really took off.
