Field Marshall

I spent many happy hours in my school days, in holiday time, weekends and some times in the evenings when I should have been doing homework, ploughing cultivating and grinding grain for feed with one exactly like this. Nothing better than to look back at the turned land behind the plough and them go home with a serious case of "Marshall Measles" from the oil spots coming from the exhaust of the two stroke engine. No cab, not a comfortable seat like on this one, protection from the weather, a heavy coat, numerous layers of pullovers and vests and a grain sack over the knees when it rained. No wonder my knees have given up now!!!

Is that one of those which starts with a shotgun shell? There used to be one of those at the Butterfield, MN show. Don't know if it's still there. Haven't been to that show in a while.
