Monterrey made tractors

(quoted from post at 09:00:19 08/18/23) Anybody know the history of what models were made there and where they were shipped to?

a very quick google search for "john deere models Monterrey" yields several pages that seem to potentially refer to your query including:

https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/tractor-brands/johndeere/johndeere-tractors-factory-sorted.html

I'm sure that spending a little more time looking would yield plenty more.

I have 2 of them. One is a 730 AF. One of 456 that were assembled in Monterrey. It is not known how many were gas or diesel but I am just assuming that the number of gas versions was rather low and then if you through in that it is an AF one, it should be on the rather rare list. I have seen other 730's that made it back to the US but they were diesels.

I also have a 435 that was made in Monterrey. It is one of 371 that were assembled there. I have not seen or heard of another 435 that survived and made it to the US. I believe Steve Just from NE who is a big collector, went to Monterrey to try and find out more about the one's made there but didn't have much luck.
