More 1953 MH 55

Took the carb off and I dont care who you are theres no fixing this one. Luckily I have a spare carb in my inventory that is almost exactly the same. Drained the engine oil this morning and took the old filter out. Have never seen one that was all rotten and falling apart like this.Had to take the canister off to clean all the old oil filter material sludge out of it. Lunch is over so back out to the garage to work on it some more.

A little cleaning, a little brazing, put in a kit and drive it away!! Sorry, I have a full belly and an open container!

Yep. Dont think there will be much useable in that carb. Ordered a carb kit today for the replacement one I have. Im thinking about an open container myself. Thanks Steve.

I've never run across a filter or carb that bad.
