as a followup to my previous thread: http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/viewtopic.php?t=1124912
i got my research from two cylinder the other day. it is exactly the same as the one i saw for another 420 navy except for the build and ship dates and the cj code. mine has CJ# 208. its not a typo as i found the stamp on the main case of the tractor. (should have checked there before i got the research document) so apparently cj 207 does not include all 420 navy tractors. im not sure what the difference may be between 207 and 208 tractors if any but im going to continue to do my detective work. the known consecutive cj codes were for very similar things (ie: cj696 install 71 loader and no50 backhoe and cj697 install 71 loader and no51 backhoe) and maybe it was for a different mower attached? regardless its still a pretty cool tractor with some neat history.
