More SWD9 issues

Thank you to all that have been providing input on my SWD9
radiator repair and fan repair.

I have found the hub that the fan mounts to is broken.

Any tractor junk yards that you would suggest to call to find a
used one?

Also the front shaft that comes out the center of the fan hub
has a brass shaft with 6 notches in it. Does that unscrew and do
you use a spammer tool to loosen it or is there a special tool for
removing it?

yes it unscrews, then pulls out and there is packing behind it to prevent coolant leaking. if its screwed down to the last thread then u need packing also. there was tool for that to tighten the packing or unscrew it, but just use a punch or WATER PUMP pliars on it. also that hub is for loosening and tightening the fan belt. that is how water pump pliars got its name cause in the old days these pliars were used for tightening the packing on many different engines. i have that hub also.

was just thinking u could make a tool for that out of a good sized socket and jut cut out the notches with a zip cut wheel.
