Morra hay tedders

Does anyone here have any experience with Morra tedders? I cant find much info on them (no website) . They are sold thru AgriSupply and seem reasonably priced. Thanks in advance.

I have one. It is lightly built, and it isn't very stable when folded up and towed down the road behind the tractor. I would not buy another one, and the one I have, with all its U-joint and roll-pin troubles, will most likely be scrapped when I'm done with it instead of inflicted on someone else. If the budget permits next year, a new Pequea may be on the farm.

I know a guy who has a Morra and said he likes it, but I just got a brand new Pequea TT4000. There is ABSOLUTELY NO comparison. I will tell you that I tedded 35 acres and the main shaft bent on it, but it was not a mechanical failure ( or operator lol) The tedder sat all last summer and winter and got rust on the shaft causing it to bend when lowered. I travel 20mph with the Pequea and the all hydraulic setting is soooo nice when in an uneven field. Side by side with the Kuhn 4 star, literally the Pequea was twice the tedder, plus they are the only American made tedder on the market. I would highly recommend it.

I know for a fact that everything except for the frame and safety guards on the Pequea tedder is made in China by a well known gearbox MFG. There is nothing wrong with the Pequea tedder, it is a copy of a Class Volto 52T using the 3 piece PTO yoke setup rather than the Claas Permalink wing connector system.

Thanks for the replies. Late last year I broke a gearbox/ pivot casting on my old Neimeyer ( predecessor of Krone) tedder . I welded the pieces together and it held for a few days and broke again. I guess its time to look for a new one. Secondhand tedders always seem to be pretty well used up , at least any I've come across, thats why the new Morra seemed like a good idea. I missed a good used one (Kuhn)a couple years ago from friends of mine who retired , of course mine wasnt broken then either.
