What oils are you guys running in your stroker tractors?also will the multigrade oils such as 15-40 get warm enough to reach the 40 weight thickness on these short runs? Thanks

there will be 100 different answers to this question but I run 15-40 in my r right now but want to go to 0w-40 syntheticin in the r . i run 10-30 synthetic in the GM .I prefer lighter oil in the pullers simply because it would be rare to get oil temp up just idling or for short duration of pull.Paul

a lighter oil will cut down on the resistance that the crank incounters when it goes through the oil, but you could be compromizing protection, I use a good 30 weight and have had good luck with it.
