Mower Value.?

Am looking at a Case sickle mower in working condition not far from me. Asking price is 800.00, wondering what vaule might be, assume it to be a No. 10 Eagle Hitch. Would like to put on my VAC, and want to make fair offer.

That sounds pretty spendy to me.The local tractor salvage yard here hada couple of No T10's priced at $350 and $500. this summer. Don't know i they are there yet or not.
If you buy it you will need the long pin that holds the RH eagle Hitch arm, and breakaway arm on the mower.

I had a nice trail mower.Ended up selling for $ 150 to a fellow who bought a 730 diesel I once owned.Just couldn't see it sit around any longer not getting used.I bought it for the cylinder to go on a Case 4 bottom trail plow.

Thanks guys for the info, I have the Stockton Eagle Hitch on my 48' VAC, so it should work. Thanks for the tip on RH pin loren, what should the pin measurement be.?

Michael, there's a junk yard HP by Coloma WI with a #10 semi-mount mower for $195. Was a good running mower when it came in 2 years ago. I'd buy it but came into an E7 mower this summer.

Thanks Jim. This one is about 3hrs from me, also one in Ky about 4 1/2 hrs from me for 175, but isn't in running condition. Maybe Jon F. could bring the one near you down to me on the Flying Eagle Express. LOL

I don't know the actual measurement. The trip arm had a std. hitch arm ball on it, which slid over the extended pin and used a regular 3pt snap pin to hold it on.
