Brother borrowed my 55 40U to mow field. when tractor returned I noticed the new muffler has turned white on bottom half. I thought he may have overheated but the paper stickers just above white part didn"t burn off. if the muffler had gotten really hot it seems the stickers would be completely gone. The tractor is running ok but I am concerned about damage to my baby! anyone have ideas what may have caused this? when asked he admits to running approx two gallons of unleaded fuel. I have always used lead substitute in fuel.
