MW P-2000 Dynamometer

Going to look at one tomorrow. Just wondering if there is anything I really need to take a close look at. What would be a good price? Looking for more input from someone who knows more about it than I do. Thanks.

Not sure How much I know but some stuff to look at.
1) General condition, that the gauges are clear and the glass in intact.
2) Oil leaks. Open it up and look for them.
3) Run it. Shouldn"t make any noise to speak of.
4) The BIGGY,Smell the oil - if it smells burnt beware. Heat is the big enemy of dynos.

I bought one saturday . It's going to be for sale. I have to go pick it up tomorrow. The head mechanic told me it is perfect. It goes to 450 hp. Reply if possibly interested . I'm going to put it in the classifieds . thanks corey

Did it come from Pocahontas, AR? If it is, it's supposed to be a good one. I don't really need one but a couple of times. I was planning on buying one, if I could get it cheap enough, and then resell it.
