mx fuel problem

bought a casemx the other day,5.9 cummins,setting at least 6 years,can't seem to get the injection pump to pressure up at injectors,has the long bosch p7100 pump,have extra tank hanging, an fuel in and out,would the rack be stuck,the 90 series always stuck wide open,but would start,shut off seems to be working.

My guess? Rack is stuck in fuel off/rearward position, only takes ONE stuck plunger to keep the rack from moving as needed. I've seen pumps with stuck parts setting unused for little as a year..

dieseltech,you got it,rack was stuck an 4 plungers,got her going,hard to say how long they were setting the tree in axle was 5" thick,some kinda estate thing,they had 4 of these mx110's

Probably an interesting story about why they sat around that long, some estates are settled in a one year time span and others go on and on.
